Church of the Monastery of the Concepción Francisca (Puerta de Valencia)

A splendid building situated on a corner facing the Huécar Gorge and the old part of the city in the area known as the Puerta de Valencia. This community established itself in Cuenca in the XIV century but the present convent is from the XVI century. The main door to the church is baroque and its outstanding feature is the bell tower with its two openings. The inside of the church has its original elliptical design.
