Foundation Antonio Pérez (Former Carmelite Convent) Sala Millares
http://www.fundacionantonioperez.es/
Built in the XVII century as home to a community of barefoot carmelite nuns this is one of the most original and beautiful buildings in Cuenca.
Its design is completely irregular and it is necessary to distinguish between the part of the building which served as a convent, the Casa de la Demandadera, and that of the church.
After being aquired by the council it was thoroughly restored and is now home to the Museum of Contemporary Art Antonio Pérez on one side, and on the other to the International University of Menéndez Pelayo with a student residence and exhibition space.
