The commander Constantino del Castillo founded the school in a convent wich, through the years kept loosing its reference, although its always maintained his identity and relevance, probably for his scale and urban implantation, or for a typology that remembers us the way of conceiving the city in the XVI century.
The rehabilitation, always respectful with the intervention criterions in the built heritage, allowed the urban regeneration of a historic building so as to give him a new teaching and cultural use. The transformation has been possible by means of fusionating the past and present, with the result of clear naves characterized for their versatility at adapting to the need of the moment that is being given, actually and in the future. |
